      We have blended the spicy flavors of cinnamon and hazelnut for a smooth aromatic coffee, enjoy this recipe that inspired our Snickerdoodle Coffee Blend.

      Khoka Snickerdoodle Cookies

      When you bake these cookies your kitchen will be filled with the sweet aroma of cinnamon. They are perfect for dipping into a cup of Khoka Snickerdoodle Coffee. Yum!

      Ingredients:

      2¾ cups of all purpose flour

      2 teaspoons of cream of tartar

      1 teaspoon of baking soda

      1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt

      1 cup of unsalted butter (room temperature)

      1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 

      cups plus 1/3 cups of sugar

      2 Large Eggs

      2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon

      How to make:

      Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

      1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar for 4-5 minutes until light and fluffy.  Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the eggs and vanilla. Cream for 1-2 minutes longer. 

      2. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, just until combined. 

      3. In a small bowl, stir together sugar and cinnamon. 

      4. If time allows, wrap the dough and let refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.  Roll into small balls until round and smooth.  Drop into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and coat well. Using a spoon, coat for a second time, ensuring the cookie balls are completely covered.  

      5. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are slightly cracked on top and puffed up, about 9-11 minutes.

      6. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool

      A delicate butter cake that pairs well with a dark & bold cup of Khoka Coffee

      Ingredients:

      4 tablespoons unsalted butter (very soft)

      1/2 cup of all purpose flour

      ½ teaspoon of baking powder

      1 large egg

      1/2 cup of white sugar

      2 teaspoons of almond extract

      Confectioner's sugar, for dusting

      Khoka Coffee:

      3 tablespoons of Khoka Gourmet Coffee (for best flavor use Dark & Bold) for 1 ½ cups of water (preferably prepare in a french press, if not regular coffee maker is fine)

      Instructions: Makes 1 dozen

      1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Butter a Madeleine pan
      2. Sift flour and baking powder, set aside
      3. Beat together egg, almond extract, sugar until combined until it's very thick then add it to the flour and baking powder bowl
      4. Spoon the batter into the mold (grease the mold before). Leave the batter in the center of the wells, do not fill it up with batter. Just about 3/4 full.
      5. Bake 8-10 minutes. 
      6. When serving, sprinkle the top confectioner sugar for best presentation and taste.

      6 extra large egg yolks

      1/2 cup sugar

      1 ½ cups special brewed Khoka coffee  (read below)

      1/2 cup dark rum, divided

      16 ounces mascarpone cheese

      30 Italian ladyfingers

      Shaved bittersweet chocolate

      Cocoa Powder (optional) 

      Special Brew Khoka Coffee:

      7 tablespoons of Khoka Gourmet Coffee (for best flavor use- Smooth & Sweet) for 1 ½ cups of water (preferably prepare in a stovetop espresso maker, if not regular coffee maker is fine)

      Instructions:

      1. Whisk egg yolks and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer for 5 minutes until it gets very thick. Lower the speed and add ¼ cup of rum, ¼ cup of Khoka Special Brew and the mascarpone. Whisk until smooth.
      2. Combine the remaining ¼ cup of rum and 1 ¼ cups of special brew Khoka Coffee in a bowl (please note that it is important to combine this all in one time before dipping). Dip one side of ladyfinger in the special brew Khoka coffee mix and line the bottom of a 9x12x2 inch pyrex.
      3. Pour half of the Khoka Coffee cream mixture evenly on top of the ladyfingers and dip one side of the remaining ladyfingers in the special Khoka brew – rum mixture and place them in a second layer in the dish. Pour the rest of the special brew cream over the top. Smooth the top and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
      4. When serving, sprinkle the top with shaved chocolate and cocoa powder for best presentation and taste.

      Indulge yourself with this delicious donut topped with a Khoka espresso mocha glaze. Pair it with a Dark & Bold cup of Khoka Coffee.  Life never tasted so good! 🤙🏻

      Ingredients:

      1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted

      1 cup of cake flour, sifted

      1 cup granulated sugar

      1/4 tsp. nutmeg

      4 tbsp. of unsalted butter

      3/4 cup of buttermilk

      2 tsp. baking powder

      2 eggs + 2 yolks, beaten

      1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

      4 tbsp. of special brewed Khoka coffee  (read below on how to make)

      2 tbsp. of dark rum 

      2 tbsp of mascarpone cheese

      1 cup of confectioner sugar

      1 tbsp of cocoa powder

      Shaved bittersweet chocolate

      Special Brew Khoka Coffee:

      7 tablespoons of Khoka Gourmet Coffee (for best flavor use- Smooth & Sweet) for 1 ½ cups of water (preferably prepare in a stovetop espresso maker, if not regular coffee maker is fine)

      Instructions:

      1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
      2. In a large bowl, sift together the flours, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.
      3. In another bowl, stir together the butter, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
      4. Pour the wet mixture int o the dry mixture and stir just until evenly moistened. Don't over mix, or the donuts will be tough.
      5. Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan wells. Bake for 10-13 minutes, until they are springy when gently poked. Let donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a dish of choice. 

      Glaze:

      1. In another bowl, stir together the confectioner sugar, mascarpone, vanilla, Khoka Special Brew, cocoa powder.

      1.6oz - 2oz of Bourbon

      2/3 oz of Khoka Special Brew Coffee (read below)

      2 oz of Bourbon Cream Liqueur 

      Ice Cubes 

      Dark Chocolate Shaves (optional)

      Cocoa Powder (optional) 

      Instructions:

      1. Fill cocktail shaker halfway through with ice cubes
      2. Add all ingredients (except cocoa powder & dark chocolate curls) in a the cocktail mixer and shake vigorously
      3. Strain and pour prepared mixed drink into chilled cocktail glass
      4. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top of the cocktail
      5. Sprinkle dark chocolate shaves on top of the cocktail

      Special Brew Khoka Coffee:
